Led by the perennial St.Louis based artist Gavin Duffy, Moon Valley music is inspired by the cultural tapestry and folklore that make up our globe.

As a Scottish immigrant to the U.S., the clash of culture created intrigue about folk traditions everywhere for him. Thus began, a lifelong pursuit of the ways in which music defines, preserves, and connects our experiences to one another as humans.

From the muddy slide guitar of the Mississippi delta, and the ancient Celtic drones of bagpipes and fiddle, to the distant sounds of fire and drum in Senegal and the meditative Raga in India.

From Bob Dylan and Robert Burns to Toni Morrison and Jorge Luis Borges, Moon Valley strikes to culminate the inspiration of our ever evolving global community toward new statements about the power of music to heal, inspire and connect!
